    HH Lady Assayida visits the Social Welfare Home in Rustaq

    The Honorable Lady Assayida Ahd Abdullah Hamed Al Busaidi, Spouse of the Sultan of Oman, visited the Social Welfare Home in the Wilayat of A’Rustaq, Governorate of South Al Batinah. During the visit, Minister of Social Development, Dr. Laila Ahmed Al Najjar, was present.

    HH Lady Assayida visits the Social Welfare Home in RustaqA tour of the facility, which is under the purview of the Ministry of Social Development, was conducted by the Honorable Lady. Services and programs are offered to people who are elderly or who are vulnerable socially, whose well-being is difficult to maintain within their households or social milieux.

    Lady Assayida inspected the different departments of the Social Welfare Home and toured its different units. She was impressed with the integrated facilities and amenities that offered high quality services to the residents and provided them with appropriate rehabilitation in terms of social, psychological, and healthcare care as well as entertainment.

    During her conversation with the residents, the Honorable Lady learned about the comfort and attention they receive at the Social Welfare Home. Lady Assayida Ahd expressed her deep appreciation and thanks for the efforts of the staff of the Social Welfare Home and wished them success in maintaining the facility’s performance.
